  6. Thanks for the very informative information on plugins. I'm a new inexperienced wordpress user but I currently just started using wordpress seo by yoast. Seems pretty easy so far. Will try all of the other recommended ones tonight.

  13. I'm a big fan of SEO by Yoast. For social sharing I prefer Socialize (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/socialize/) I like that it's flexible - I can have a ton of buttons and an obnoxious bar that scrolls up and down along with the user, or I can have a simple box at the beginning/end of each post.

Thanks for the preso, and good to meet you.

  20. I dig DIgg Digg for sharing (get it?)
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/digg-digg/

Also, I've written some, so, you know, there's that. http://profiles.wordpress.org/jazzs3quence and https://github.com/jazzsequence

Landing Sites is cool, though it hasn't been updated in forever: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/landing-sites/

I also really like TPC Memory Usage (which also hasn't been updated): http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tpc-memory-usage/

And PressTrends when I want to feel bad about not posting more content: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/presstrends

I've been using Cart66 + my Products plugin for e-commerce stuff:

  21. Sorry about the link in the slides, I messed up the URL. Trying to solve it with a 301 redirect. No luck so far.
